Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

Super Slow-Mo. In God's presence is what it feels like. The world is always at a fast pace of life, yes the race of life. When we enter into God's presence we enter a timeless space. Its like a super slow-mo where you can prepare your heart and be ready for what lies ahead for that day. Jesus says, "Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." We must enter into His Rest daily so that we can handle each day with the grace given to us by God. In Gods presence we get to step out of the race of life and ask Holy Spirit to go ahead of us, giving us a sharpening and peace that surpasses all understanding. Without prayer we would just rush into things and never get Gods counsel of patience and endurance. In the super slow-mo of God's presence we cannot stay there forever. Unfortunately we must enter back into the time and space of our lives. But something beautiful happens every time heaven and earth meet. This is what Christians call praying in the Spirit at all times. We become transformed in the Image of Christ as we grow in personal prayer and scripture. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. In his presence is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. For You grant us blessings forever; You cheer us with joy in Your presence. So enter the super slow-mo and leave with a better grasp on the race of life. Don't let this life pass you by, do life with God so you can enjoy every second of it. Laying aside every weight and sin which clings so closely. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.
