It’s a Dogfight. Part 2

Friendly Fire. In the heat of spiritual battle their is suffering and loss. Many will not stand with us, but if they are not against us than they are for us. One the enemies tactics in the spiritual air warfare is to influence friendly fire. It’s one thing to battle word for word dogfight against the spiritual principalities and powers in the air. But is another thing, as air fleet of believers to continue to work together in the bond of peace keeping strong fellowship. Too many dogfighters go lone rangers and break up formation and unity. So many believers end up getting friendly fire against them because fellowship and growing in the knowledge of Christ was never cultivated. We end up divided in the Word and instead of growing together and helping each other mature in faith, we as believers argue with each other instead of stopping the devils attacks in our lives. So many believers have been grounded with their hearts discouraged by friendly fire. This is why the V for Victory formation is important for the Body of Believers. The enemy wants to take us to the wilderness and get us into a good old fashion dog fight. That is why we have to know the word and have close fellowship with other believers in the body so that we can battle word for word against the enemy together. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Together as One LORD, One Spirit, One Baptism, we will be victorious in the spiritual air! Earnestly desire and strive for the greater gifts if acquiring them is going to be your goal. One of the choicest graces and the highest of all virtues is unselfish love. It is the Top Gun, and it will keep us from friendly fire on each other.
