Proverbs of a 39 yr old man.
When you see trouble coming, don't be stupid and walk right into it, be smart and hide. Better yet, the name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. A wise man fears and turns from evil, but a fool is careless and reckless.
Trouble goes right past the LORD's people and strikes the wicked. The rewards of humility and the fear of the LORD are wealth and honor and life. Look! God shows you how to escape from your temptations. The LORD knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. He leads his people not into temptation, but delivers them from the evil one.
