Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Patience births submission. It is a virtue that is born anew in us through recreation in Christ. As we grow from faith to faith in the knowledge of Gods Living Word. We are to be submitting to Gods perfect will in Christ. A sanctification process where the patient endurance of the saints produces the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The more we are submitted to God the more we will not fight back when trials and tribulations come. They are for the perfecting and testing of our faith, we must allow patience to flood our minds. Fear is the greatest challenge to our faith because it causes us to doubt Gods word and character. We must learn as disciples of Jesus to learn patience in quietness and full submission. And as you endure you gain endurance to be able to stand for your faith. Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. You should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy. Fear is created in our minds. Lets allow Gods perfect love to cast out fear daily, becoming fully submitted to the Spirit of Christ in us. For it is by your patient endurance you will gain your souls.
