Prayerlessness. Are we prayer less? Let's look at the fruit of our lives and see if we are prayer less. Are we bearing the fruit of the Spirit even in the midst of our trials and tribulations? In our day to day lives are we seeking God our Father learning what it means to be a son or daughter of God? You need spiritual fruit in your life to experience the real power of the Gospel. And that only comes when connected to the Vine of Christ daily. One of our biggest hindrances is prayerlessness. We don't fast and we don't pray. We give into the appetites of Babylon in our flesh. Our excuse is we work 40 plus hours a week for earthly mammon and that to provide for our families. But what good is that money if you are doing nothing to provide spiritually for your family. Its time we cancel the overtime and say we are coming to the house of God more. Say: I have got to learn how to pray for my family and be the husband, father, and brother I need to be for the LORD. We have to be priests of our homes and steward well the things of God. We look after the things of the world better than the things God is wanting us to nurture and develop. Lets begin to pray into things and ask God for his favor and grace. Why do we look for the opinion of man first and not the word of God in prayer? We want something we don't have, and we will do anything to get it. We will even kill! But we still cannot get what we want, and we won't get it by fighting and arguing. We should pray for it. Yes, let all the faithful pray to God in Christ while He may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. He is their hiding place; and he will protect them from trouble and surround them with songs of deliverance.
