Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. On a journey at night, a wise person carries a bright light. There are safe because of this bright light. They know the right way because of this shining light. Able to arrive home safely. On the same journey, though an evil person has only a candle and its light is weak. They cannot see the right path. They will lose the way are in great danger. To live in Light is so much better than to live in darkness. The lifestyle of good people is like sunlight at dawn that keeps getting brighter until broad daylight. As the Sun of Righteousness shines on us His rays of love and peace. We start to live a moral life. Our lives start to shine bright with wisdom and joy. The Righteousness of Christ imputed on us gives us light we need to live in a dark and broken world. So many people love to live in the darkness and live with just a small candle, just barely able to see the left hand from the right hand. They love the darkness and the light that they have is soon snuffed out by sin and death. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. Amen. Many are content with just being a good person and don't they are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. They need the light of Christ love to cover there nakedness and brokenness. To find redemption and new life from there sins and shine in the power of Gospels Light in there hearts. Jesus said, I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness. Amen. His life in us is the light of mankind. In Christ we reap the gift of eternal life now. For whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor. The LORD detests the way of the wicked, but He loves those who pursue righteousness.
