Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

And being found in human form, Jesus humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Amen. Christ humbled himself for the Cross and not just at the moment of the Cross. Living a life of sacrifice, a living sacrifice for us. Jesus lived a humbled life. His life was a preparation for the Cross. Giving his perfect life lived as a sacrifice on the Cross. It was actually a victory for Heaven, because He was the perfect Lamb slain from before the foundations of the world! So humble, so meek and mild. Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. We see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. Amen. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Yes, Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities, and he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. His perfect and humble life offered on the Mount of Golgotha was like a bright city on a hill! For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
