Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
If you respect God, then you will be wise. If you refuse to do evil things, then you will be intelligent. Only God understands wisdom. He alone can teach you to be wise. Only God sees the whole earth. Only God knows everything. He established the strength of the wind. He measured the waters in the clouds. He decided how the rain would fall. He chose a route for the storm and the lightning. You may think that it is impossible to learn such wisdom. But wisdom is God’s gift to people. If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won't correct you for asking. Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance. Amen. God saw wisdom! God declared wisdom!
God prepared wisdom! God tested wisdom! Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. Wisdom is not merely the thoughts of human minds. And wisdom is not just clever ideas, God chose wisdom as a quality that people need. God recognized that wisdom is important. He made sure that wisdom is good. Wisdom will benefit our whole lives. And wisdom will bring us to heaven when we die. So, righteousness and wisdom are two in the same. You are God's children. He sent Christ Jesus to save us and to make us wise, acceptable, and holy.
