Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they’re deceiving you. They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils. While their hatred may be concealed by trickery, their wrongdoing will be exposed in public. Everyone will see through those evil plans. If you hide your hate, then you are lying. If you lie about other people, then you are a fool. Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness. Surely The LORD desires integrity in the inner self, and He teaches us wisdom deep within. We must lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. So many people hide hatred in their heart and have no heart for God or for people. Hatred is a grievous sin. It is the opposite of the virtue love. Love causes a person to sacrifice for the one he loves, but hatred causes a person to wish only bad things for the one he hates. A natural aspect of hate is the willingness to use blatant lies or deception against a victim. Often, a hateful person tries to disguise their contempt for others, even pretending to like the ones he hates. In doing so, he commits hypocrisy, another sin that offends the Lord. That kind of hidden hate might go unnoticed in the world, but it will not be missed by God. The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Amen. We do not have to live in hatred anymore to each other. For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. Praise God! Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.
