Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

Make this place your Home. Don’t you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Hear the LORD say: For I have chosen this Temple and set it apart to be holy, a place where my name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to my heart. My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place. Amen. Hold on, to me as we go. As we roll down this unfamiliar road. For small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. And although this wave is stringing us along just know you're not alone. Yes, because I'm going to make this place, your temple my home. Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me. Settle down, it'll all be clear. Don't pay no mind to the demons they fill you with fear. When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So, it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Remember that trouble might drag you down. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because Jesus has overcome the world. If you get lost, you can always be found. Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents. Amen. When you feel lost and afraid know that your never alone. The LORD Jesus has made home in our hearts. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Oh, Jesus make this place, this earthen vessel, your temple, your Home.
