Proverbs of a 40 yr. old man
Hall Of Faith. Imagine the day standing in the hall of faith. How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us. Amen. After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”
And again, they shouted: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.” The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: “Amen, Hallelujah!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!” Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.” For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. Jesus once said, “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. Amen. Standing in the hall of faith. Heaven's going to know your name because you burned with the bright flame of Christ! Within the walls of the faith in the New Jerusalem, Christ will receive all the fame and glory as he rewards his servants that were on Earth. The King will say to those on His right, Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. Yes, you can go the distance; you can run the mile. You can walk straight through hell with a smile. You could be the hero; you could get the gold. Breaking all the records they thought never could be broke. Yeah, do it for your LORD, do it for His Bride. How are you ever going to know if you never even try? There will be a day when Jesus will acknowledge your name before Gods angels! Do it for the Kingdom of Heaven, do it for glory of His Name! Be students, be teachers. Be politicians, be preachers. Be believers, be leaders. Be astronauts, be truth-seekers, be champions. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. Soon all those invited to the Great Supper of the Lamb will gather together. Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.” Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done.
