Proverbs of a 40 yr. old man

Jesus is the most beautiful thing I have never seen. But though I have not seen him, yet I love him. Though I do not now see him, I believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, for I am receiving the end result of my faith, the salvation of my soul. Oh, the beauty of His Holiness! I am becoming more like Him every day through the power of His resurrection and fellowship in His sufferings. Right now, God works in us: “We, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord”. One day, however, the process will be complete: “When he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is” (1 John 3:2). The promise of being fully Christlike in the future is in itself motivation for becoming more Christlike now: “Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. The Holy Spirit is sanctifying us with the precious Word of Truth. Yes, the Spirit of Christ is renewing us and transforming us into beautiful vessels that Jesus can pour our His Glory and Power through. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. Amen. The LORD, the Mighty One, is God, and he has spoken; he has summoned all humanity from where the sun rises to where it sets. From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance. O nations of the world, recognize the LORD; recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong. Give to the LORD the glory he deserves! Worship the LORD in all his holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before him. Jesus your so beautiful! My flesh and my heart cry out to you the Living God!
