God is not your adversary. If you are a believer and learning to trust the LORD. Realize Jesus is for you and not against you. If you are practicing righteousness and living for Christ, you have every blessing and grace coming your way. He is actively working all things for your good even in a broken world where things may not go our way. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath. through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Amen. We do have an enemy in this world, and he is actively trying to kill, steal and destroy our lives. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Stand firm against him and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So, after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. All power to him forever! Amen. The great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. Jesus says He is the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Him will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in Him and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Oh Christian? The LORD Jesus is your closest ally and friend. He is your Creator and Redeemer, He is for you and not against you. The very life in your lungs and joy and peace forevermore.
