Proverbs of a 40 yr. old man

Happy Independence Day. What a great holiday to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy in this country. A free nation under God, indivisble with liberty and justice for all. We truly can enjoy these God giving freedoms if we continue to follow God's words and commands. If we stray from the Light of Heaven oh how quickly our land will be covered in sin and darkness. Amen. Let's thank God in Christ today also for the freedom from religion and works for salvation. The freedom to come boldly to God's presence and have personal relationship with Jesus. Those words of freedom He uttered to the woman at the well ring still true today. Starting in John 4:21-26

21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” 26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”

We all have been given freedom and an independence to know God in Christ for ourselves.

No one can say they have not known the LORD. He has made Himself known through out the world. His name is Jesus and everyone one can have personal relationship with Him and our Father in Heaven through the power of Holy Spirit. Enjoy freedom in this land and your land, even where there is oppression and scorn and persecution. An Independence and freedom that comes from the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth. The LORD draws close to us all by the power of His Love giving us freedom and peace beyond our understanding. Happy 4th.
