Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
His Presence is provision. When the presence of the LORD comes, His provision for whatever you have need of is with Him. Your restoration, your recompense is in His presence. Found in His hands is fullness of joy! Every fear suddenly wiped away here in His presence! Jesus has shown us the way of life, granting us the joy of His presence and the pleasures of living with Him forever. How the king rejoices in your strength, O LORD! He shouts with joy because you give him victory. For you have given him his heart’s desire; you have withheld nothing he requested. You came to greet him with rich blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked you for life and you have given him the length of days to an eternity of eternities. Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty. Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence. How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues. Blessed are those who know the joyful sound, who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of the LORD's presence! They will eat and be satisfied. All who seek the LORD will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.
