Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
Smallpox, 200 years between vaccine and the disease eradication. The last recorded case of smallpox occurred in 1977 in Somalia. The disease was officially declared eradicated by the World Health Organization in 1980. Just a generation ago polio paralyzed hundreds of thousands of children every year. Now the world can possibly eradicate it. Thank God for the miracle of vaccinations. Vaccines protect from diseases and are key to many eradication efforts. Listen to this definition I found: Vaccination is a simple, safe, and effective way of protecting you against harmful diseases, before you come into contact with them. It uses your body’s natural defenses to build resistance to specific infections and makes your immune system stronger. Vaccines train your immune system to create antibodies, just as it does when it’s exposed to a disease. However, because vaccines contain only killed or weakened forms of germs like viruses or bacteria, they do not cause the disease or put you at risk of its complications. I heard this broad statement: Although the number of 10,000 is practical for many purposes we believe that it is a gross underestimate when considering the number of potential diseases. Only 500 treatments. We have work to do. The LORD lavishes unfailing love to a thousand generations. He forgives iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But He does not excuse the guilty. He lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected, even children in the third and fourth generations. Amen. Sin and death has brought disease, affliction, pestilence. The world gives a healing that does not make people whole. Drugs and medications can many times only treat sickness and pain. Jesus wants to make us whole and not just healing. He is the cure to sin and shame. In His Time he will heal all his people with new bodies. Till then, He is healing souls from the iniquity of our souls. Yes LORD, you forgive the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. I said, "O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against You." O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me. The LORD nurses us when we are sick and restores us to health.
