Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
I care. I have compassion for my neighbor. Because of Christs love living in my heart I am tenderhearted and want to forgive my neighbor just as Jesus has forgiven me. I look after the interests of others more than the interest of myself. When I see a brother in need I want to provide help and relief. My ear hears the cry of the poor in spirit, I want to answer them. I want to do good everywhere I go and I want people to see Jesus in me as I serve them. I care about bearing burdens and loving people through there hardships and trials. Encouraging those who are heavy laden while building people up in quiet confidence. Yes, because I care I want to show hospitality and honor to those who deserve it. Listening, learning, and loving. In lifting others I rise myself bringing glory to God. I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak. I will live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me. Jesus loves us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. May I be a pleasing aroma to my God and King. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume.
