Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man

When David and his men reached Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. So, David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. Amen. This reminds me of James 5:16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. Amen. Amazing how where two or more are gathered the presence of the LORD is there. Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” We receive a healing as Holy Spirit stirs us in words or even groans to pray for each other. We rejoice with those who rejoice. And weep with those who weep. Weeping maybe like David did with his men where you can't weep anymore. You find strength in the LORD Jesus as you confess your weakness and surrender. He draws near the broken spirit and helps new strength come about his believers. David and his men found strength in the LORD to go take back what the enemy had stolen. As we come together in fellowship let us confess our sins to one another and find new strength and healing that we so desperately need. Coming close to God, and God will come close to us. Washing our hands as sinners; purifying your hearts, so our loyalty is not divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. Brothers and sisters do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. Amen. Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. I tell you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will also confess him before the angels of God.
