Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man

Prince Of Peace series. I want to take you on a journey of my heart for God. I feel led in my spirit to compare the story of Moses delivering Israel to the deliverance of Jesus saving the world. I am going to take it nice and slow and each day share with you what the LORD puts on my heart. So excited, let's go.

Introduction: Deliverer

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6. Amen. What a gift to humanity, God in the flesh. I hear echoes from Matt.1:20-21 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” Amen. A baby born to be a deliverer not just of Israel, but of the entire world. Heb. 10:5 says that is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer. Amen. Jesus, though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross! Think of this, the greatest story ever told. For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. The King of Glory came to this world to give us everlasting peace with God and man. He is truly the Prince of Peace. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Amen. Deliver us. Hear our call. Deliver us. Lord of all. Remember us, here in this broken world. Deliver us. Praise God for the new heavens and new earth promised to us. Deliver us to the promised land of the ancestors of our faith. Even so, come LORD Jesus come.

To be continued.... Part 1 Born a slave. Born a human being.
