Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man

You have spent the whole day trying to please yourself in the things of this world. No wonder you're in a bad mood. Spend some time in the Light of the Gospel, in the Light of Heaven and renew your spirit in the things of the Kingdom. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. The LORD protects those of childlike faith; when I was brought low, he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. Yes, treat me with kindness, LORD, so that I may live and do what you say. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” If we live in the light, as God does, we share in life with each other. And the blood of his Son Jesus washes all our sins away. Amen. Blessed are those who know the joyful sound, who walk, O LORD, in the light of Your presence.
