Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man
You start off calling Him God, the big man upstairs. Your scared to even know He exist. Then you get to know God the Son and you receive salvation. You call Him LORD and Savior, submitting your life in humble service. And as you submit to the Son, He teaches and transforms you to a child of God. You start calling God, Father, Abba, and Daddy. You are no longer a slave to this world but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. We are his children; we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
