Proverbs of a 41 yr old man
Faith. Hope. And when all else seems lost, love is the greatest virtue we can hold on to. We have faith to move mountains but maybe we are still in the valley. We have hope that change can come. But even hope can be dimmed by suffering and loss. The only thing that will never give way to despair and abyss is love. It is the greatest virtue to live for when all else fails. Love is willing to lay down it's life for a loved one, even an enemy. Love keeps this broken world surviving and even thriving. God gives sunshine and rain to both the righteous and the unrighteous. Love will not let us be consumed if we fully submit to Him. God is love, and in Jesus we have everything we need even if we have nothing the world can offer us. He said, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. Amen. That peace that surpasses all understanding has been poured out into our hearts. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. It's the perfect love of God that we live from. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. Amen. For if we die with Christ, we will also live with him. If we endure hardship, we will reign with him. But if we deny Jesus, He will deny us. Yes, we deny Him by the way we live without. He has given us everything we need for life and godliness. We have such great and precious promises to live from. But If we are unfaithful, Jesus remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is. He is love. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love is the sustaining virtue and basis for all others gifts God gives his children. If your faithless, and hopeless today. Live from the greatest virtue known to man, love. And love hard like as if you are a living sacrfice into God Holy and pleasing. Because you are. Clearly, Christ's love guides us. We are convinced of the fact that one man has died for all people. Therefore, all people have died.
