Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man
People are living a lie, and they are angry about it. God is too. He has indignation everyday against the wicked. Evil and sin is ruining people's lives now and for eternity. What you do now in this life and what you believe now affects every part of you. God allows people to live in delusion and grandeur, while still showing his love and grace giving rain to both the good and the bad. But practicing righteousness matters, the fleeting pleasures of sin are for a moment, but its destruction is a lifetime. We need the Spirit of Truth to permeating ours hearts to keep us from sin and folly. People are angry because sin is not satisfying. And they blame God because he allowed it. Even in a freewill world there is the great equalizer of Justice. You reap what you sow. God will not sacrifice the truth for our sinful pleasures. No, he gave his life as a sacrifice for us so that we would live for him and not for ourselves. He is restoring our broken world day by day until the last day. Till then, stay away from the wrath of God. Be angry, but do not continue in sin. Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body. All of us will have to give an account of ourselves to God. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
