Proverbs of a 41 yr old man
You became like the world. You people who aren't faithful to God! Don't you know if you love the world, you are God's enemies? And if you decide to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. Amen. You became like the world instead of just being in the world. You gave peace but a worldly peace that did not address sin or repentance. There is no peace except through righteousness in the land. You gave hope to a world that hopes for a better world without God and his values or his politics. We gave a love with no tolerance and now have reaped a whirlwind of hate. The world says there is peace but there is no peace without Gods peace on a nation. We say to be overcoming but what are we overcoming? Our hearts are compromised when we live in sin and make peace with it. We should be sinning less and rooting out sin in our lives. It should be our passion to overcome sin and not tolerate it. That’s not overcoming, that is settling to a seek friendship with the world and its culture and priorities. When Christian’s don’t speak out for righteousness people get hurt and allowing sin to run rampant in society and culture. Over time people are not even able to reason things that are common sense in the name of tolerance and free choice. Not my problem we say, we have to let people do what they want. America is a free nation to do whatever we want even if it harms people. Then as people get hurt, we end up having to take care of them anyways. Our silence to a broken world leaves people as victims who will blame you anyway for allowing them to hurt themselves. It happens to God all the time. People blame God for things they willfully do, even in ignorance. We must stand up for the Kingdom and its values. To not make peace and friendship with the world while still being wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Don’t be silent. Stand up to people who practice sin and approve those who do. The world hated Jesus, so get use to it. The truth is the truth. Don’t sacrifice it in the name of tolerance and disparity. God's word is perfect converting the soul. Never coming back in void. It can keep a nation from destroying itself. It starts with us, His Ambassadors. What is an ambassador? So, we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” Stop trying to get what’s right through the politics and wokeness of this world. The world is using you to corner you in silence. Stand for the Kingdom in every nation, tribe, and tongue. It’s what the founding fathers-built America on, even if they couldn’t live up to it perfectly. Utopia is in Heaven alone. Don’t ask what your country can do for you? Ask God as an ambassador of the Kingdom, what you can do for your country to honor and serve him.
