Proverbs of a 41 yr old man- Christmas Poem
New Life In Me
There is something so supernatural about the words Jesus echoed to Nicodemus in there private meeting together. No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Amen. When the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Amen again. The words "Born Again" mean so much to the purpose of the Christmas season. Jesus said we must be born again if we want to see the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. He was born to die. To die for a sinful world and to born again in us! Alleluia! We have the life that Jesus lived, the life of the Spirit living in us at the point of belief and repentance. It's a supernatural event that happens in the life of a believer. Don't make it normal, the Scriptures describes it like a river of life moving in us constantly! It's a supernatural experience that happens naturally in us and through us. We don't toil and work to save ourselves. Can a Cushite change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good when doing evil comes so naturally. It is the power of God changing our hearts and lives that bears in us the supernatural fruit of righteousness. This power Jesus describes as streams of living water will flow from within us. It is the same river of life that flows in the Kingdom of God right now and through all his people. Without this supernatural living power of Holy Spirit, we would become stagnate falling into sin and destruction. The Spirit of Christ living in us is moving and rushing and constantly cleansing us. Without Gods presence we would become dried up wells consumed by our fleshly evil desires. God’s presence in us is a constant watering as the seed of God’s Word gets planted in us daily. Growing stronger every day like trees planted by streams of water. Where sin abounds, grace abounds more. We get faith and obedience like a rushing wind in times of despair. Self-control and kindness like running water overflowing in our thoughts and actions! Oh, the real gift of the Christmas season has always been the gift of Christ in us the hope of glory! Believe again for you have been born again into a new life hidden in Christ. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life sets you free from the law of sin and death. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! Amen. We know as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. God has put The Spirit of Christ inside us! Thank you, Jesus, for this new life birthed in us! As a result, we know that one day we will receive all the good things that God has promised. At that time, we will be completely free, because we belong to God. So, we praise God and we say that he is great!
