The LORD make His Face shine upon you. Part 1. So, I was at Publix recently with my wife buying some groceries for the house. I came up to the register to pay and an amazing interaction with Holy Spirit happened with the person bagging my items. The person's name was Todd, and instantly our spirits jumped. He started speaking blessings over and talking about Jesus. I couldn't resist affirming him and encouraging for his heart for the LORD Jesus. Then he said something that blew me away and I want to talk to you about this in the next couple days. He told me may the LORD bless you and keep you, and may He make His Face shine upon you and give you peace. Amen. That's Numbers 6:25. I have heard that blessing many times and have shared that blessing many times with others. This time it stood out to me because of what he said after. This gentleman said this with passion and Holy Spirit. He said, His Face is as bright as that light in the ceiling. We both looked up, as well as my wife to this bright ceiling light that hurts the eyes after a while. I immediately felt his love and respect for Jesus and hugged him for his unique faith to know God in a very real way. From the mouth of babes, I thought in my car as I reflected with my wife about this interaction. What a beautiful way to think and know that Gods face is shining upon you with grace and peace. The essence of Numbers 6:25 lies in its rich imagery and profound spiritual significance. When the verse states, "The Lord make His face shine upon you," it conveys the idea of God's presence and favor. In biblical terms, the "face" symbolizes a personal relationship, God’s face shining upon us indicates His approval and benevolence. When you share this blessing with others it's for the person to walk in relationship with Jesus. Gods face shining up you is His favor and peace. His Living Word in us is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path. As just of part 1 for today, think about how many people live with Gods face shining on them but don't value the relationship. Just like the Sun shines on us today providing so many benefits and protection, we forget how important it is to acknowledge and appreciate Jesus, the Sun of Righteousness. It's hard to stare at the sun, it can make you blind if you keep staring at it. Evil people stare at the Sun of Righteousness and become blind with rage, doubt, and hatred for God. Instead of realizing He gives rain to the just and the unjust. Psalm 103:2-3 Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Amen. Think about this Scripture as I close: 2 Cor. 4:6-7 For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. Amen. God has made His Face to shine upon through our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. His Face gives a holy life that shines in our hearts, taking us from death and darkness into His Marvelous Light of life and love. Stop looking against the Sun of Righteousness and start letting the Living Word shine on your heart and life. Showing you the way the truth and the life that so many are blind to it or take it for granted. How bright is that Light of Heaven? As bright as that ceiling light in Publix that day. From the mouth of babes. Thanks Todd. Part 2 the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” To be continued.....
