Proverbs of a 42 yr. old man

The LORD make His Face shine upon you. Part 2 the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Evil and wicked people live in darkness. There is no light of God's Word in them, and their light of conscious is seared. The irony is that many evil people believe they are good people and have good morals. The LORD gives rain to both the good and the bad. The eyes of the LORD are in every place, observing the evil and the good. Yes, for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. I want you to think about that. Recognize and be thankful for God's common grace to all, which is evident in the natural blessings we receive daily, such as sunlight and rain. But the LORD's Face shines upon all the Earth, looking to have relationship with humanity. The wicked are blinded by Him but the righteous live in relationship with the Light of Heaven. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. The wicked live in darkness hoping to hide their evil deeds, but the righteous live in the Light as He is the Light. The Scriptures call us to not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father but are from this world. This world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. Amen. So, don't let evil people worry you or make you jealous. For evil people have no future; the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. Amen. When The LORD Jesus face is against you, it's a terrible thing to be the hands of the living God. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will. But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” The proud live in a dark state. Even the light they think they have is dim and dull of mind. Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good. They did not see fit to acknowledge God, so God gives people up to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They become full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They become gossipers, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful. Inventing new forms of evil; they disobey their parents. Without the Light of Heaven not just shining common grace but actually receiving Light in their hearts, the wicked are doomed for dark destruction. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. Let me close with this statement and then let Holy Spirit connect 2 Peter 3. All sinners will be destroyed; there will be no future for the wicked. The wicked have inherited this evil world and will be destroyed with a judgment fire that never is quenched. But the meek will inherit the earth. God has a new heavens and new earth for the righteous to live in the Light always, no darkness. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. Amen. Closing verse, listen to Holy Spirit: 2 Peter 3:1-14 This is my second letter to you, dear friends, and in both of them I have tried to stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory. I want you to remember what the holy prophets said long ago and what our Lord and Savior commanded through your apostles. Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.” They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. 6Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. 7And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed. But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.
