Proverbs of a 42 yr. old man

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Is. 9:6. Amen. Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel” (which means, “God with us”). Matt. 1:23. Amen. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:1-3. Amen. These verses are treasures for us that hope in the soon coming of our LORD Jesus Christ. He came and He lived and He died. Conceived by Holy Spirit and born of woman. Yes, Jesus’s birth was not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. Just as all die in Adam, representing fallen humanity. All humanity can live in Jesus, becoming a life-giving spirit for all. That's why I find the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus about being born again fascinating. Jesus explained the birth of the Spirit comparing it to the wind that blows. The God through whom all things were created and nothing was created without Him. Is the same God that calls believers in Christ to be born again. Jesus died on the Cross and rose again so that we would be born again. Born by His precious blood and sacrifice so that we can experience real spirit and life. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead". Amen. We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his". Romans 6:4-5. Amen. "Jesus said that He is the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Him, though he dies, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Him shall never die. John 11:25-26 Amen. This is something that every human should experience and that is the power of Christs resurrection and the fellowship of His Suffering. To be born again is to experience real resurrection of your life from sin and death. You once lived like the world and now you live for Jesus. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever! This world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. People are dead in their sins and need resurrection. This happens through the born-again experience of the Spirit of Christ living in us. Jesus died for us so that we would live for Him. We are being made sanctified and unspotted by the spotless without blemish Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world! This Christmas season be reminded of the birth of Christ in you and me, the real hope of glory we so desperately need. Oh, Father in heaven thank you for your work of recreation in me into Image of your Son Jesus. I have been brought from death to life. I am resurrected.
