Proverbs of a 42 yr old man

Last year. This New Year!

Last year. You were pressed on every side by troubles, but yet you were not crushed. You were perplexed, but not driven to despair. You were hunted down by the  principalities of darkness in the air, but never abandoned by God. You got knocked down, but you were not destroyed. Praise God, through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Amen. In this new year there is new wine that cannot be poured into old wineskins, your last years old way of thinking. Otherwise the things of the past year would ferment the new wine, the new things and expand bursting the skins( which is the work God has been doing in our hearts through Christ). All the new wine The LORD has for us in this new year will be lost as well as the old wineskins given to us by God. This new wine and way of thinking must be put into new wineskins. Last year, we must make peace with it and reflect on our old way of thinking. In this New Year! We must forget the former things; we must not dwell on the past. We need a new mindset and thinking to see the new things Jesus is bringing and doing! When it springs up you will not perceive it because the old wineskin cannot receive the new perspective God wants us to have. Put away last year, and receive new wineskins for this new year. Be transformed by the renewal of your mind and heart in Christ in 2026. With this new wine and fresh perspective (new wineskins): Give, and it will be given to you. The LORD will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over with no space left for more. For with the standard of measurement you use when you do good to others, it will be measured to you in return. Amen. With this new thinking for this new year you were given more compacity to receive more of The Spirit of Christ in your life. We now have more of this precious light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. Amen. More Holy Spirit in our lives brings the transformation and the glory to God He so richly deserves. May our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Amen. Soon our bodies will give way to death and we will have our new bodies, a new wineskin, that will carry the new wine, new ressurected life that we will reap soon. Enjoy now today and this new year the new wine, a fresh deposit of Holy Spirit as proof of abundant life forevermore. Oh to think in heaven a new wine always overflowing with new wineskin able to bear the real weighty and holy presence of God! I can't wait to drink the eternal wine in Heaven with my Savior Jesus. Matt. 26:29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
