Proverbs of a 42 yr old man

Let it be said that we were brave. That we did not go out as cowards to sin and death. But we fought for relationship with Christ to the end for the crown of life that He gives. When the Book of Life is opened that our deeds would be remembered, even the smallest ones to bring Glory to the Risen Lamb, the Lion of God! Listen, Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; but let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” Come on!  I hear LORD Jesus: Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Amen. There are days when I feel like Gideon in the winepress. I'm scared LORD, I want to die but I want to live for you. Evil breaths strong in our faces, and I want to run from confrontation. Flesh and blood are real, but more dangerous is the battle with the principalities of this world. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but I do still fear losing everything you have given. A sound mind you have given me to handle what trials come my way. A spirit of love and power is my passion to do your will oh God! Jesus! I don't want to fail you! I want to be counted worthy of your Holy Calling. Please keep me from fear and de-masculinity. I want to be a man of God that can by faith walk on water for you but also suffer for your Kingdom for you. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay. “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Amen. LORD Jesus, live out your life, your light in me. I want to overcome this world as you have overcome this world. Let it be said of me that I was brave! Oh God please! Keep me faithful by your Holy Spirit. Like the letter to the Church of Smyrna let me be faithful! Write this letter to the angel of the church in Smyrna. This is the message from the one who is the First and the Last, who was dead but is now alive: 9“I know about your suffering and your poverty—but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not, because their synagogue belongs to Satan. 10Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life. Amen. Let me close with this with Holy fire in my soul! In my bones: God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Yes! Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night,

nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. Amen! I hear you say to me Jesus: Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
