Proverbs of a 42 yr old man

The scent of sin draws people back to their vomits. But the aroma of Christ leads people away from sin and death. Yes, little by little people are drawn away from the vomits of sin to real food and drink found in Jesus. His blood and body are eternal and life giving. The smell of life is intoxicating and leads you to abundant life. While the stench of sin leads you to a debaucherous life. A sinful life only has the taste of death and brings no real lasting satisfaction. It's like stinky dead flies found in a bottle of perfume, and then it is spoiled. Just a little foolishness and sin outweighs wisdom and honor. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? Amen. Just as death has a distinct smell so does life. If you are continuing in sin, then smell of death is getting stronger leading you to sins vomit. But if spirit and life are drawing you then the smell of fresh spiritual Word and pools of Living Water are drawing to Jesus who is real spiritual food and drink.
