Inside every man and women is the burning desire to be a hero. To do something courageous and brave to receive a hero's welcome. He or she had this passion while they were a boy or girl, and depending who they had around them to affirm does that fire still burn. Glory comes and goes, and it fades away over time. But those who give the greatest sacrifice receive the greatest glory! Jesus said greater is no man than the one who gives his life for his friends. Giving your life for another is the greatest of sacrifices. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Amen. His Spirit lives in the life of the believer. We received a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind. With the power of Holy Spirit we can be hero's even for just one day, or one moment in time. Jesus, the greatest of heroes calls us to share in His Glory. To be heroes, and to receive an inheritance and reward. To have such a faith and works that moves mountains and speaks to kings and authority. But also what you do to the least of these you have done unto Jesus Himself. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?“ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matt. 25:34-40. Amen. The LORD Jesus repays handsomely at the resurrection. No eye has seen and no ear has heard what the LORD has prepared for those who love Him. So, go be a hero today, because the Hero of heroes lives inside you. For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.
