Sometimes you go through trials and difficulties because you are doing things right and not because you did something wrong. When troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. You know you learn to endure by having your faith tested. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong! This is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. You don't gain anything by being punished for some wrong you have done. But God will bless you, if you have to suffer for doing something good. After all, God chose you to suffer as you follow in the footsteps of Christ, who set an example by suffering for you. Amen. Let's keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
