Proverbs of a 43 yr old man.

There are moments when the pain is too deep, the thoughts are too heavy, and we simply don’t know what to pray. But heaven is not silent. The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us when words fail. And Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, is continually interceding for us. So even when all you have are tears…Even when all you can say is, “Jesus…” Even when you have no words at all…You are still being carried in prayer.

“Christ Jesus… is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” — Romans 8:34

“The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for…” — Romans 8:26 And when God has strengthened you, don’t keep that strength to yourself.

Go strengthen someone else.

Go stand in the gap.

Go pray for the person who has no words.

Go carry someone in prayer the way Christ carried you.

Jesus told Peter, “When you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” — Luke 22:32

When you don’t know what to pray, remember: Jesus is praying for you, the Spirit is helping you pray, and when you have been strengthened, go strengthen and pray for others.
