Oh To Be Wise Meditations
God tells us the truth according to the law and the testimony. How else would we know what sin is apart from the law? Adam and Eve had one law to follow. Since that law was broken, sin has increased in this world and a need for law and order in every generation since then. As societies degrade in sin and death, Gods law is the moral standard he uses for judgment. Praise God as sin increases grace increases. Old testament law was tooth for tooth and eye for an eye. But after Christ resurrection we were given the Gospel, the law of love. Mankind, was able to increase in wisdom and salvation. Nations became Christian, cities received the wisdom of the Gospel. But with much grace comes more sin. For some reason humanity uses Gods grace to sin and break Gods laws established long ago from the beginning. Jesus came to testify to the truth as the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega. He was there when there was just the knowledge of the tree of good and evil, and he made remedy for that sin. Many years later he testified to the truth of Gods word and hung on a tree to die for the sins of this world. Now all who believe in Him and in the word of truth can receive real justice and mercy in there hearts and lives. No longer will anyone not know the LORD. The Gospel has become the fabric of all societies. So many cultures and religions quote the Bible. The Truth is more clearer than ever before. Trust in the word of God given to mankind. The Holy Scriptures are the foundations that the New Kingdom to come will be built upon. Live a life today that is according to the law and to the testimony. Gods perfect love has been lived out by Christ and He is our example how to live a righteous life. Its not all about law keeping, but more about knowing Jesus as LORD. Letting Him day by day renew our hearts and minds to the truth of the Gospel.
Starting with John 18:36, lets meditate and reflect the words of Jesus to Pilate. Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.” Pilate said, “So you are a king?” Jesus responded, “You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”
