Sacrificial Love

Good morning Brothers, Happy Friday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God has guided you to see another week! God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for someone, God hears and answers your prayers. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.(Hebrews 1:3). Let’s sing, I hear the Saviour say, Thy strength indeed is small; Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in Me thine all in all. Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow! Today’s verse is from 1 John 3:16. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. This kind of love is challenging. It asks us to look beyond our own needs and to see the needs of others. It calls us to be selfless. The good news is, Jesus isn't asking us to do anything for someone else that He wasn't willing to do for us first. He knows how hard it is and yet, He still gave everything for us. Let's keep this scripture in mind and look for opportunities to show love through our actions. Whether it's helping a neighbor, spending time with a friend who's struggling, or showing kindness to a stranger, each act of love brings us closer to living like Jesus. Look for opportunities to embody God's sacrificial love by putting others' needs ahead of your own. When you help a neighbor, comfort a friend who's struggling, or show kindness to a complete stranger, each act of love makes you more like Jesus. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
