Seeking Justice Like Our Father

Good morning Brothers, Happy Friday. God loves you. I love you. Praise God for bringing you to the end of another week. Thank Him for waking you up this morning. Take a moment to pray for someone today. God will hear and answer your prayers. Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the Lord. He gave it to Shaphan, who read it.(‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭22‬:‭8‬).‭ Let’s sing, For Your holy book we thank You, And for all who served You well, Writing, guarding, and translating, That its pages might forth tell Your strong love and tender care For Your people everywhere. For Your holy book we thank You, May its message be our guide, May we understand the wisdom Of the laws it will provide: And Your love and tender care For Your people everywhere. Today’s verse is from Isaiah 1:17. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. Doing what's right requires action. Who do you know that's in a difficult or vulnerable situation? Consider how you can help, serve, or step into the brokenness in Jesus' name. The call to justice has always been central to God's heart. Justice is not separate from faith-it is an expression of it. To follow Jesus is to care about what He cares about, to love those He loves, and to take action on behalf of those who cannot fight for themselves. This isn't optional. It's what it means to be a child of God. When we seek justice, we reflect the heart of our Father, who is always near to the brokenhearted, always championing the cause of the vulnerable, and always working through His people to bring justice to the world. Take a step of obedience today! God loves you. Have a blessed day.
