Stay Alert

Good morning Brothers. Happy Tuesday. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise him for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to think and reflect on something God has done for you. His mercies are new every day. For this is what the Lord has commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.(Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭47‬). Let’s sing, Let us with a gladsome mind praise the Lord, for He is kind: He, with all-commanding might, Filled the newmade world with light: For His mercies shall endure, Ever faithful, ever sure. Today’s verse is from 1 Peter 5:8. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. If we don't know the truth, we will fall for the enemy's lies. Fight back by starting a Bible Plan today, and invite a friend to join you. We are stronger together! If we're going to resist the enemy, we must stay on both the offensive and defensive. The Offensive: Stay alert. Stand firm. Be strong. Read God's Word. Seek God-centered community. Fight for time and connection with Him. Remind yourself that there are others fighting this battle with you. The Defensive: If someone is twisting the truth, call it out. If you notice an injustice, do something to help. If your enemy the devil is wreaking havoc, have the courage to fight for good. So stay alert. And remember: God is also fighting for you.
