The Power of Life and Death

Good morning Brothers, Happy Tuesday! God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to Thank God, for his mercies endure forever. Let’s sing, When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart. I will dance like David danced. When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart. I will pray like David prayed. When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart. I will sing like David sang! Today’s verse is from Proverbs 18:21. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Think of a time you said something you regret, or were the target of someone's hurtful words. Words matter. Your words matter! Are you using your words to tear down or build up? Today, let’s use our words to bring healing and hope to people. Reflect on a situation where you encouraged a friend who was hurting, or felt the life-giving effects of someone speaking kindly to you. Stick close to Jesus so that His power can equip you to speak life. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
