The Selfless Way

Good morning Brothers, Happy Thursday. Praise God for waking you up this morning. Thank God for through him all blessings flow! God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to sit and listen to someone today. Your presence might be the peace someone needs. Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.(Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭27‬). Let’s sing, I would draw nearer to Jesus, In His sweet presence abide, Constantly trying to serve Him, Safe and secure at His side. I would draw nearer to Jesus, Nothing withholding from Him, Knowing He loves to be gracious, I would draw nearer to Him. I would draw nearer to Jesus, I would draw nearer to Him; Fully surrendered each moment, I would draw nearer to Him. Today’s verse is from Philippians 2:3. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. Jesus didn't leverage His authority for power or pleasure, control or comfort. He was sent to please God by serving others. What is one way I can show selflessness in my closest relationships today? Do I understand the difference between selflessness and passivity? When you take the time to notice, serve, or encourage others, you are magnifying Christ as you live out your faith. WE before ME is where it always has to begin. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
