The Way of Humility

Good morning Brothers, Happy Wednesday! God loves you. I love you. Praise God for waking you up this cold morning. Stay warm! Take this moment to pray for a loved one, God will hear and answer your prayers. He is listening. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.(2 Timothy 2:10). Let’s sing, We have not known Thee as we ought, Nor learned Thy wisdom, grace, and power; The things of earth have led our thought, And trifles of the passing hour. Lord, give us light Thy truth to see, And make us wise in knowing Thee. We have not feared Thee as we ought, Nor bowed beneath Thine awful eye, Nor guarded deed, and word, and thought, Remembering that God was nigh. Lord, give us faith to know Thee near, And grant the grace of holy fear. Today’s verse is from Proverbs 22:4. Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life. It is through humility and a holy fear of God that we receive His promises of riches, honor, and life. Some of those promises will come to pass on earth, but all of them will be fulfilled when Jesus returns one day. And as we see the fulfillment of God's promises, our response will be to give God the glory. If you want true wisdom, practice being God-reliant instead of self-reliant. When you express your need for God, you're not weak you are wise. Encourage those around you to also depend on Him! God loves you. Have a blessed day.
