Trade Anxiety for Peace

Good morning Brothers, Happy Wednesday! I love you. God loves you. Thank God for waking you up this morning. Praise God for your family and friends. Take a moment to reflect on how God has molded you into the person you are today. Let’s sing, My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand: all other ground is sinking sand; all other ground is sinking sand. Today’s verse is from John 14:27. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. It is so easy to get caught in the grip of busyness and anxiety, to have a mind consumed with so many problems. It can be so overwhelming, robbing us of peace and consuming our thoughts and energy. When anxiety strikes, take some deep breaths, Then talk to God. Remind yourself of what is true! Jesus promised peace that no one else could give. Even if tragedy or suffering comes, we can experience peace, knowing that He gives us His peace, He is with us, and one day He will return and there will be no more hurt or pain for those who know Him. Today, ask Jesus to help you to trust in him more! God loves you. Have a blessed day.
