Walking in the Light

Good morning Brothers, Happy Tuesday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for a loved one, God will hear and answer your prayers. But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. He prayed to the Lord, Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. (Jonah‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭2‬). Let’s sing, Like a river glorious, is God’s perfect peace, Over all victorious, in its bright increase; Perfect, yet it floweth, fuller every day, Perfect, yet it groweth, deeper all the way. Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blessed. Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest. Today’s verse is from Mark 10:14. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Kids need Jesus, too. Today, reflect on your walk with Christ. Are you consciously choosing to walk in His light? Are you growing in community? And are you fully embracing the cleansing power of Jesus' blood, allowing His grace to purify your life? As you reflect, think about ways you can grow closer to God, experiencing the abundant life He has promised, and become a beacon of His light in a world that so desperately needs it. Look for a moment this week to share God's love with a child in your life-they're closer to the Kingdom than you think. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
