Working for Peace

Good morning Brothers. Happy Sunday! Praise God for waking you up this first day of the week. God loves you. I love you. With God all things are possible. Take a moment to pray for someone. God will hear and answer your prayers. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬). Let’s sing, You that know the Lord is gracious, you for whom cornerstone stands, of God, elect and precious, laid that you may build thereon, see that on that sure foundation you a living temple raise. Towers that may tell forth salvation walls that may re-echo praise. Tell the praise of Him who called you out of darkness into light, broke the fetters that enthralled you, gave you freedom, peace, and sight: Tell the tale of sins forgiven, strength renewed and hope restored. Till the earth, in tune with heaven, praise and magnify the Lord. Today’s verse is from Matthew 5:9. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Jesus said you will be blessed when you work to make peace. Peacemaking requires action! Who do you need to forgive or apologize to today? As you lean into the conversation, remember your mutual need for Jesus. Seeking to be a mediator for those in disagreement doesn't mean that every problem will be solved immediately or ever. But when we invite God into those spaces and commit to the hard work of peacemaking, He can do more than we can imagine. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
