Oh To Be wise

To follow Jesus is not for earthly glory. It is to share in earthly suffering. There was no golden throne awaiting his disciples but only probation and poverty. Jesus was very much homeless, staying in different peoples homes that would take Him in. Jesus was willing to forsake all for us, something we will never understand. This was so we would not be left as orphans on earth without a Heavenly Father. Jesus, God who left his Home, came to us in our homeless state. Calls us to Follow Him back to His Home. Amen.
