Oh To Be Wise-Meditations

The LORD makes people alive. People need water to remain alive. The LORD is like fresh living water that comes up from the ground. We are God's Wells made from dust of the earth storing His Living Water inside us. Very easily we can quench the Spirit and start digging new wells in the false things of this world. The problem with that is these new wells we dig are built with our own hands. It cracks under the pressures and trials of this life. It's amazing how our idealogies become false gods. False gods that are like wells that have cracks in them. Wells of no use because purpose and meaning have leaked out. You were meant to drink pure water from the ground of His Word. Instead we drink water from brokens cisterns of this world. Most of the time we have no idea where this water comes from yet we trust it in our hearts and minds. God's water is pure and natural, no mixing with the world. The world likes to dip in the waters of God and take the glory for themselves. Beware of the wine of this world. Be sober minded to know what's pure water and what's not.
