Oh To Be Wise-Meditations
Jesus last words on the Cross was not go fix yourself. His last words were it is finished. He is not telling us just to do better in our destructive habits. He is telling us there is a Heavenly Father that has set us apart for His Purpose. How He sacrificed Himself for us to be free from sin so we can live as a real son or daughter in His Sight. What a privilege to become a child of God born through the blood of Jesus. By knowing we are accepted by God it gives us the power to live forgiven and forgive those around us. We are to put out fires of sin and pour spirit and water through our lives. We don't do this in our own strength we do it by God's strength. Jesus I want to be your fireman with the hose of your spirit flowing living water everywhere I go. I am river of Righteousness flowing into dry lakes of fire filled with sin. Amen.
