Proverbs of a 35 yr old man.

I can imagine Adam as he went looking for food. He would go and reach for fruit that was so easily available in Eden but this time a thorn or thistle would prick his hand. Blood would pour out of his cut. In pain he might have said, why God? I'm hungry, I'm tired from toil and tilling the ground. I'm so sorry I have done this to your world and to my family. I see God coming to comfort him and giving him hope in His Plan. Maybe even instruction like he gave Cain to be careful with your freewill because it will lead to sin. It will miss the mark of the goodness in this world he has created. God in Christ reached His Hand through the thorn and thistles of sin in this world we created. He tore his hands, his body, and was nailed to the Cross so we could reach to eat from the everlasting fruit of life. We have this hope that the thorns and thistles of this life are producing a peacable fruit of righteousness in us that far outweighs our troubles. Study 2 Cor. 4:17
