Every u-turn requires a slowdown and a proper change of lanes. Let repentance be the same way as you change the pace of your life and direction. Even in rebuke from the Word, be willing to turn towards the wisdom of God in Christ. The pursuit of foolishness has no restraints and blurs the lines of truth and reason. But in the pursuit of Jesus, He will pour out into us His Spirit giving us true wisdom for the change we need in our lives. Many u-turns are done in carelessness. Take the time to hear the voice of Jesus and make the turn properly towards repentance.
