You need a safe place to be confused, hurt, broken or lost. A place of refuge in a time of the temptation or trouble. Jesus says come to Him when you are weak and He will make you strong. Come to Him when your lost and you will be safely found. It is so tempting to our flesh to go in sit in the vomit of our sins. Knowing it produces no peace only momentary relief from our afflictions. What is amazing to me is Jesus will wait for me while I covet the vomit of my sins, wait for me to be done, and bid me to come to Him. I am not worthy Jesus don't call upon me I am a sinful man. But even in my wrenched state He calls out, Come to me! The power of His Love draws me to Him and I leave my vomit behind. He cleanses me from my filfth with His Blood and tells me to stay here and rest. In His Love is where we find the power to overcome besetting sins.
